Admissions

Greenfield Center School is an independent elementary and middle school dedicated to developing classrooms in which diverse groups of children thrive academically and socially. We encourage interested families to come and experience the Center School.

Special events occur throughout the year, such as an Admissions Open House, an annual performance by Henry the Juggler, an Old Fashioned Tea Party, and the annual Center School Museum: An Exhibition of Student Work. Also, we highly recommend that you come and join us for an All-School Meeting.  Students lead the meeting.   Every Friday morning at 8:30 a.m., students share their learning with the whole school community!

Children applying for kindergarten are usually five years old by September 1st of the year for which they are applying. Applications will be considered on a rolling admissions basis, space permitting but we recommend that families apply by February 5, 2008. The tuition policy and financial aid applications are included in the admissions packet.

Parents applying to Greenfield Center School for their children should:

• Submit the Application Form with the application fee of $40/child.
• Send the Release of Records Form and the Teacher/Childcare Provider Questionnaire to your child (children's) current school.
• For families who need to apply for financial assistance: Submit the Application for Financial Aid and a copy of your Federal Income Tax Return Form 1040 or 1040 A with all schedules and W-2 Forms. In separated or divorced families applying for financial aid, adult members of both households must submit their tax information.
