At the heart of winter

Dear Center School Community,

As we arrive at this final week of school before winter break, it feels especially important to pause together, to reflect on where we’ve been and to look ahead toward the new year.

This season invites us to slow down, gather close, and remember the strength of our community, which has truly shown up in an incredible way this year. As John O’Donohue writes, “At the heart of winter, there is a yearning for warmth, for shelter, for a place where the light is kept.” In this spirit, we invite you to join us in keeping the light together.

Whether you are a current family, an alum, or a cherished community member, we warmly invite you to join us this Friday at 8:30am for Winter Sing. We’ll come together in song and joy, celebrating the season and welcoming the year ahead as one.

Thank you for all the ways you show up for the Center School. We are so grateful to be learning, growing, and singing alongside you.

With gratitude and hope,
Amanda Richard, Interim Co-Head of School
