Celebrating the first four weeks
Dear Center School Families,
The first (nearly) four weeks of school have been full of small, joyful moments. Walking through classrooms and outdoor spaces, I have seen students eagerly engaging with new routines, reconnecting with friends, and approaching challenges with curiosity. There is a special energy at the start of the year, a mix of anticipation, discovery, and belonging, that reminds me why this community feels so vibrant.
I have already watched younger students beam with pride as they carefully build towers in the classroom block area and share their discoveries during science experiments. Older students are stepping naturally into leadership roles, guiding and supporting those around them while collaborating on group projects. Every day, these moments of growth highlight the thoughtful, compassionate, and curious nature of our students.
As we settle into the year, I am deeply grateful for the trust you place in us and for the warmth of this community. The joy your children bring to our classrooms and to one another sets the tone for all that lies ahead.
Be well,
Lauren Obregón
