Center School on The Fabulous 413
Dear Center School Community,
Over the past couple of weeks, Amanda and I have felt deeply supported by this community. Since launching the Save the Center School campaign, so many of you have reached out with kindness, ideas, and concrete action. A special thank-you to Jennie and Yanis Chibani for opening their home and bringing together current families, alums, and teachers for an evening of connection and commitment. It was heartening to hear people share what the school means to them and the ways they’re jumping in to help.
I also want to highlight the recent story about the Center School by Monte Belmonte and Kaliis Smith on The Fabulous 413. Their conversation captured the spirit of the school in a way that felt both honest and uplifting, and I'm grateful for their thoughtful coverage.
I'm excited to see many of you on campus next week as we host our November conferences. These meetings are a chance to reflect together, to share what we’re seeing day-to-day, and to hear how things are unfolding at home. Each conversation helps us support your children more fully, and we’re all grateful for the time you make to be part of that process.
And as all of this is happening, I continue to feel the momentum building around the campaign. Your energy, your ideas, and your belief in the school are carrying us forward. Thank you for being part of it.
With appreciation,
Lauren Obregón
Interim Co-Head of School
